Fast Response IAT Sensor (Relocation Type)
Fits into original location on the air collector so no drilling or tapping required. Can be relocated to the hardpipe from the intercooler to minimise heat soak from the engine which is common when mounted in its original location. Compatibe with all RB engines, RB20, RB25, RB26, RB30. Must be used with a mappable ECU such as a Link G4 series, Haltech Platinum Pro, Elite series, AEM, ECU Master etc. *Not suitable for Apexi Power FC.
The sensor is a premium quality German made open tip element and is long enough to reach the air stream in the plenum or air pipe. Will be supplied with a calibration data sheet.
Bosch Motorsport Knock Sensor KS4-P
This wide frequency knock sensor is used for detecting structural born vibrations in spark ignition engines due to uncontrolled combustion. This sensor is suitable for operation in extreme conditions.
Due to the inertia of the seismic mass, the sensor moves in correlation to the engine block vibration; this motion results in a compressive force which is converted into a voltage signal via a piezoceramic sensor element. As a result, upper and lower voltage thresholds can be defined directly correlating to an acceleration magnitude.
The main benefits of this sensor are its robust mechanical design, compact housing and precise determination of structure-related noise. The small packaging is accomplished by integrating the connector directly to the sensor.
Water Temperature Sensor (ECU)
Bosch 2-Pin Water Temperature Sensor (ECU) as found in most RB20 / RB25 / RB26 engines as well as several SR18 / SR20, VQ-series engines and more.
This is the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor that the ECU uses to make adjustments to fueling and ignition as the engine coolant temperature changes.
Note that this is NOT the sender that is connected to the water temp gauge on the dashboard. Can be found here: Water Temp Gauge Sensor
Water Temperature Sensor (Gauge)
HELLA - 1-Pin Water Temperature Gauge Sender as found on many Nissan engines such as the RB and SR series (RB20/25/26 and SR20/20DE/DET)
This is the engine coolant temperature sender that is connected to the water temp gauge on the dashboard (instrument cluster). Note that it is NOT the 2-pin sensor that ECU uses for fueling compensation when the engine is cold etc.
