R35 Brake conversion kit for the Nissan 350Z (Z33)
Featuring front caliper angle correction in order to run closer to the 3 o’clock position. We have seen some other brand brackets run the caliper closer to the 1 o’clock position which leads to the caliper falling outside it’s optimal operating position range which is known to impact performance (air relief slots in the pistons dictate caliper mount position) and lead to a soft/long pedal feel.
Adapter brackets are made from billet 7075 T6 grade aluminium. Not to be confused with cheaper kits, the Supertec Racing Kits are designed manufactured to the highest standards in the UK with FEA (Stress analysis and simulation) to ensure the highest strength and reliability.
We don’t use the softer grade 6061 grade alloy as some others, as from our extensive testing and partnership with an industry leader in aftermarket automotive and motorsport manufacturing, the 7075 T6 alloy is the absolute material of choice for structural brake components such as brake mounting brackets.
New spec one piece rear lightweight bells with reduced diameter for compatibility with the 350Z e-brake diameter now saves approx 3.9kg per side over oem R35 cast iron bells with reducer rings.
Kit is compatible with both early and late R35 calipers for 380mm/ 390mm front discs and comes supplied with the following items:
- Front caliper to hub brackets
- Rear caliper to hub brackets
- Lightweight front bells
- Lightweight rear bells
- High tensile bolt kit included
- Optional Titanium bolt upgrade kit available soon.

*Trimming of return lip of disc backing plates required.
*Suits 18” wheels such as Nismo LMGT4, Rays TE-37SL, Gram Lights 57DR, 57Xtreme (380mm only) (and variants) Typically a 380mm front kit needs 436mm of inner barrel clearance measured from when mount hub face. For a 390mm kit a clearance of 446mm is required - each of the given clearance will give approx 3mm of air gap.
