Titanium brake pad shims are made of a special titanium alloy which provides an extremely low thermal conductivity for a high degree of protection against the heat entering the brake system from hot brake discs. This solution will help protect your brake caliper paint from damage and dust boots from heat damage as well as its key function is to prevent brake fluid boiling. Stabilising the brake fluid temperature leads to consistent stiffness of the brake pedal thus eliminates the effect of a soft pedal.
Note:
Currently tested with Pagid, Ferodo, Project Mu and Endless R35 GTR Pads. Some other pads may require minor re profiling as well as for pad wear sensors if used.
